Sony should mass produce these.

"The future is here"? I've been seeing videos of portable PS2s for years. I guess the main difference with this is that it's smaller than the other ones I saw. It'd certainly be a cool thing to own though, especially considering that the PS2 is my favourite console.

Imagine if this happended 13 years ago... Jesus, a portable PS2 would have sold like hotcakes!

But the psp is the portable ps2

That was my thought too xD if giving it a name with "PS2" in the title is what's gonna make the differende between selling or not selling, then that's quite telling about Sony's (lack of success) with marketing for their own portables.

Well, the PSP wasn't as powerful as the PS2, nor could its UMDs hold as much space as a DVD.

I totally agree with that. Would you agree that Sony would have less of a business case to invest in a "Portable PS2", because it would probably not really last anyway? Maybe as a once-off thing, but not as anything that's supported over any sort of medium or long term. Curious to know your thoughts :)

huh. I have the same soldering station.

Eherm. It's a nice build all around. Very tidy and clean.
