lost sphere releasing for ps4 and switch same date in japan. secret of mana remake is releasing only for ps4, vita and pc february 2018.

if there was an obligation, they couldve ported a few old games like secret of mana collection and get it over and done with.i think square enix loves sony because of ff14 and will keep on making awesome games for playstation. square enix is making millions each month just from ff14.

I always invisioned a remake in my head and...  I'm a little let down that it doesn't set a industry benchmark in grapics but I understand the budget for this was probaby tiny.  I just love this game so much I want it to be a way bigger project.  Still, it looks AWESOME!

Edit: Just imagining the weapons changing as they're upgraded, how the magic spells will look, how the world will look on Flammie.  GAH!  I haven't been this excited in a long time!

The JRPG revival on PS continues. As someone who used to be mostly a JRPG player, this makes me happy.

I wish VGChartz would implement something along the lines of what NEOGaf has in banning people who derail announcement threads with off-topic port begging. It takes away from the actual announcement of the games for the platforms listed.

Original Secret of Mana is a strange game. I've played it many times but and like it.

...but every time I play it I come to around Darkness Palace and completely lose interest. Thus I have never finished it during all these years of playing it.

I got nostalgia tears after watching the trailer but nothing to keep in a bottle.  I bet I could once I get my hands on it though!

So third parties consider the freakin Vita a more viable platform than the Switch? This situation gets more bizarre by the day.
