"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

We live in an age where a Rabbids game wins an award whilst competing against an Age of Empires games, let that sink in for a moment

"Best Casual Game"

"Mario and Rabbids Kingdom battle"

??????????????????????????????????

Why are you surprised? Higher up in the list you can see that Super Mario Odyssey wasn't even nominated for Best Mobile Game. Nintendo got snubbed.

They didn't get snubbed because Metroid won ... although how is Samus returns a "mobile game" but Super Mario Odyssey isn't?

Mario beats Destiny and COD...well that's nice. Hopefully the full game delivers on this promise.

I guessed this before they announced the awards, I must be psychic!

Some of the categories and its nominations are weird. What game would be considered casual? As in, what parameters make it so?And Ni no Kuni as a family game, really?

As for Mario winning, no surprise

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Will still be hard to top BOTW tbh as good as the game looks that's still a mountain to climb with what BOTW pulled off.
