Hmm... why no Crystal edition on VC instead?
as to the post above, physical releases are seen by onlookers - this is some form of advertising most of all.
Wasnt there remakes called "HeartGold" & "SoulSilver"?
Why not release the better versions of the games?

Because DS games can already be played on 3DS.

This always makes me think of the wasted oportunity of not having DS games on the 3DS eShop. They wouldn't even need emulators, the hardware is compatible already. Shame.

so far just the downloadcode. they havent announced if anything else will come packaged in the box.

i think its a nice touch. you were able to buy download codes for Red, Blue, and Yellow in-store when they first released. so this time around you just get a cool box when you buy it in-store. its not a lot, but it makes the physical buy more appealing
OMG, I need this. I will use it to put my original Pokémon Gold copy in. I lost the original box a long time ago...
