1. What exactly have I "twisted" or 'coveniently ignored'? I literally just showed you examples of Microsoft saying what I said after you tried to say I wouldn't be able to show any.
Ok... lets look at your articles....
from the techno fuffalo one titled. "Pro is no competition for the XB1X according to MS" here is a quote...
I look at Pro as more of a competitor to S than I do to Xbox One X. This is a true 4K console. If you just look at the specs of what this box is, it’s in a different league than any other console that’s out there. When I think about techniques to somehow manufacture a 4K screen like what some other consoles try to do, this is different than that. This is 40 per cent more GPU. The amount of RAM we have in this, the speed of the RAM, the speed of the harddrive, the reaction we’re getting from developers.
So errr..... you still think thats the same as saying we are not in competion with the Pro?
Even with other articles.... eg the one from extremetech that says
Microsoft Exec: PS4 Pro Competes With Xbox One S, not Xbox One X
Thats not saying its not competing with eth PS4.... what these articlesare saying is how much better the XB1X is to the PS4pro... you hear things like tru-4k, more ram...bla bla bla get thrown around in those articles. Thats a price justification, not a decleration of what market they are competing in.... if you can't get that still i don't know what to say.
2. You're trying to talk about "twisting" things when you literally just did that. Microsoft said that the Xbox One X isn't in 'competition' with the PS4 Pro as in they didn't make it to compete with it. You're saying that they said the PS4 Pro is 'no competition' to the Xbox One X because of how much more powerful it is when that's not what they said or meant.
Smh...... from the first two articles i you quoted I just showed you that that is exactly what they meant and theysaid it. Yet you are still having a hard time understanding that. I advice that you go read those articles again.....
3. You ignored the entire point completely and are still going with the 'well they are both in the industry so they are immediately competing' and ignored what I said before, which is that just because they are both in the video game industry, and thus are wanting people to persuade people to buy their consoles, doesn't mean that it was MADE to compete with something else though.
Didn't ignore anything at all.... kinda hard to go over stuff again when you even quote facts to support what I am saying but somehow find other ways of interpreting them.
But ok, the XB1X isn't made to compete with the PS4/PS4pro..... Does that even make sense?
4. My original post was the Xbox One X wasn't made to compete with them because that's not what Microsoft made it for, they made it because they wanted to offer a premium product to their consumers and the public, not to try and overtake the PS4 with it, which they said multiple times. You have yet to refute or show anything against that in any way thus far, especially since I just showed you plenty of articles where they did in fact say that.
I really suggest you read those articles again.....
5. I never said that the Xbox One X being $500 meant that it couldn't compete with anything(it wasn't made to). Now you are just trying to put words into my mouth. I said that the Xbox One X being $500 shows that Microsoft, even after saying it plenty of times now, did NOT make it to compete with the PS4 or PS4 Pro, so they were fine with pricing it at $500 since it's a premium item.
Errrrr........... sigh.
Also @ bolded: I seriously don't even know what this has to do with anything or what point you're trying to make. You're just stating random things. I never said it had anything to do with power or features of a console.
Those aren't random things. MS says the XB1X (as per their article) isn't in competetion with the PS4 pro with supporting arguments like tru 4k, more ram, UHD bluray player....etc. Basically, ours is better than theirs. Oh and of course premium pricing.... Those random things you are saying I am just saying is to prove that this isn't the first time in history that one company has done something to differentiate itself from the competition.... doesn't suddenly mean they are no longer on competition with those people.
I really think you should read those articles again.
