well Builders is obviously much more niche than mainline Dragon Quest, and obvs releases are generally more sparse from third parties early in a consoles life cycle (regardless of what particular platform). So its slightly surprising, partially because Square is seeming veryyyy supportive early on

Platted the first one, very fun game. Only downsides were
* Some bosses were basically impossible the first time around because you'd have to build in prep for them beforehand - sort of a feels bad form of difficulty where you can't adapt & win.

* Some monsters in DQB will ravage your town. A little bit of repair is expected after a monster attack, but having to completely rebuild multiple buildings can be obnoxious.

* Recruiting NPC allies to go adventuring with you is a bit annoying, hope the process is streamlined in 2.

* Much like Heroes, it often made me wish I was playing a mainline DQ. I guess a comparison would be playing TMNT on NES, having fun with it, but a voice in the back of your head is saying "wish I was playing the arcade game instead."

Despite all that DQB2 is a definite buy, a welcome combo of familiar aesthetic & unique play.

And here we are seeing the effect of Switch being a combination portable/home console. Games like Disgaea 5, Puyo Puyo, Monster Hunter XX and DragonQuest Builders 2 wouldn't have been made for a strictly home console. Square has jumped on board the Switch train. Now we just need Atlus to decide that Switch is their new console of choice. We'll be drowning in JRPG goodness.

Awesome! Another DQ for PS4. It sucks that Vita was opted out.
Yeah an online feature should be added. DQ builders 1 was held back because of it.

This will be very a interesting Media Create when this one is release.
