I'll be holding on to the Switch release.. being able to play on the go and on a big screen is a huge plus.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing (mostly)

PS4, Switch and 3DS should have a western version. Hope they'll make it right. I don't the know the previous numbers of Dragon Quest here in the US/EU, etc. That would give them an indication about the franchise in the west. Didn't include the XBox since they didn't release it in the XBox in Japan. But I just hope more gamers can get this game on the console of their choice.

It would be crazy if the US and EU would get the PS4/3Ds bundle like in Japan. :)

Now it is official. Japanese players report that the PS4 version is more comprehensive and much nicer. The monsters and story-dialoges looks really awesome. PS4 version has thousands of details. Cant wait @ west release

I wouldn't call it an upset considering there's been multiple Xeno-titles that have been widely considered the best RPG of the year. I don't even know if the Persona or SMT franchise has had that honour yet.

While I most definately agree with what you said. If both games were yet to be released I would place my bet on XC.

But we do know that Persona 5 has been universally acclaimed so far.. so that's what I mean with upset.

Xenoblade Chonicles X was considered the best RPG of the year? in what world? it was kinda disappointing.

If you wanna do a battle of Metacritic there isn't a single Monolith Soft RPG that achieved Persona's 5 rating of 93.

Personally i like the Xenoblade Series but i always thought it's highly overrated, the side quests are terrible, like MMO bad for example, same thing with the combat.
