Looks really nice now, have the update downloading, can't wait to see if they fixed some of the other little issues.

Hurrah, you can now repair things again just using the normal menu, without changing over to classic crafting, I'm so glad that was spotted and changed back, was a right pain in the ass.

This upgrade is fantastic. Not only have they improved the resolution, the FPS seems to be improved too (including split screen multiplayer sessions).

Theory - if they make it 4k, the framerate will be even better.

Clearly they did more optimization work to the game than just merely increasing the resolution whilst docked.

run it at 8k in handheld mode and super sample it back to 720p for the display, could run at 120fps.

But can Switch achieve the Super Duper Edition?

On a more serious note, good to see there optimizing the game and supporting it on other platforms.

Are mortals capable of comprehending such power?

I've never played Minecraft. Should I?

You need to be able to enjoy the gift of an open world with effectively no goals... there are goals to be found but you don't need to do any of them, you can happily live your life away in the game farming bread and building a house of of wood you grow from trees... or head off and search out portals to other dimensions... fight flying demons... discover strongholds and travel to kill dragons...... or go back to dying your leather cloths with dye made from your rose garden...

Just add your imagination to the world it gives you and you can get lost in minecraft for years, it's an experience you just have to try it.
