Is 1-2 Switch a title mostly bought digitally? 400-500k is a lot to undertrack. Also, did they say the Splatoon 2 sales? |
nope, financial results covers April 1, 2017 through June 30, 2017

Breath of the wild doing really good.
Undertracked here it seems by 700k.

Splatoon 2 launched in Q2, these are Q1 results. |
Ups, didn't notice that. At the very least we confirm that 1-2 Switch reached the million units sold.

Switch sold around 2m Switch units in one quarter, thats quite good in any case, especially if consider that Nintendo still cant keep up with demand.

I pretty much doubt it. But I forgot digital in the first place, so Mario Kart is probably spot on in VGC.
Also, I have to point out: 4 million sellers in four months. With the Famitsu-numbers for Splatoon we can be pretty sure Splatoon is another one. That makes five millioon sellers in five months. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
Holy fuck! That 1 2 Switch Sales!
And Yay! Arms reached over 1mil in a couple of weeks!
Zelda BEASTING IT!!!! Especially with combined with Wii U!
MK8D Doing Amazing too!
And Switch is over 1/3 of Wii U!
Pocky Lover Boy!

ARMS already 1.2m at June 30th? Wow, and some thought it would do just meh
Fantastic numbers all around, Mario Maker sold 4m on WiiU at the end, great performance, Splatoon 1 almost 5m and BoTW also at 5m (counting WiiU), awesome, also spectacular Mario Kart 8 with almost 12m sales combined and still selling like hotcakes.
Wait, Arms sold 1.18 million copies in 15 days? Awesome! Is that including digital?

Don't forget that VGC doesn't include digital, so unless it had the worst digital sales rate ever then the undertrack would be a fair bit less than that. Actually, if around 16 or 17% of Zelda sales are digital (would actually be below the average digital %) then VGC would be almost spot on. So depending on digital, could actually be a bit overtracked. |
VGC is still missing three weeks to end of june for software and four for hardware. That explains most of the difference.
I don't know which one is more surprising: 1-2 Switch being a million seller or ARMS becoming a million seller in only 15 days
