These UK threads were so quiet recently. Trust crash bandicoot to Smash it back into life! I hope Sony do a crash + ratchet bundle this holiday.

Eh.... Not.

Splatoon 2 release is the big star in this UK thread. People love some Nintendo release in this country so they can doom and gloom.

And of course if some Nintendo title reach the #1 we always have the "not enough games" card to continue the downplay

I've only seen 5 Switch games chart in the UK chart so 3rd best launch does not mean much. It does tell us that Arms did not do well though.

Exactly my point, huge majority of Switch games did not entered UK chart at all

So you are expecting indie games to enter the chart (they are the majority of Switch games right now)? lol
Nah honestly could you be more precise and name some of these Switch games which didn't enter the chart?

I made my point and it was very clear, now you can try spin that whatever you want.

If you really want to know, look in list of all launched Switch games in PAL region until now.

Exactly my point, huge majority of Switch games did not entered UK chart at all, so if same game sells good it's not because Switch has low number of games, in that is case much more Switch games would be in top 40, not only 5 Switch games.

In any case, Splatoon 2 was launched on smaller instal base than Splatoon 1 was and Splatoon 2 has 1/3 higher price point than SPlatoon1 had, and yet Splatoon 2 sold 59% than Splatoon 1. Splatoon 2 sold around 28k first week, if instal base of Switch in UK is curently around 200k, that means that 1st week round 15% Switch owners bought Splatoon 2, and thats quite good.

Not really - it just shows that there's not a lot of Switch games. This is a top 40 list after all.

4 Switch games were in the top 40 on launch week. Every other Switch game has been in the top 40 except for Cars, Skylanders and Fate/Extella.

Just checked - only 3.

You just proved to me with this post that you exactly know that the things you are saying make no sense.

It wouldn't take 2 minutes to look up a few of these "big Switch games" you were talking about. You didn't look them up because you exactly know that the Switch only had 3-4 big games so far. I just asked 2 very easy questions but you aren't able to give me precise answers. It's a fact mate, Switch doesn't have more than 3-4 big games available right now, just accept the truth and deal with it.

It's funny that you are calling me a liar when you are the person who refuses to give more precise answers while I am the person who states the facts. Not going to post again in this thread because it doesn't make sense to discuss with you anymore, you will always repeat the same old argument (Switch install base = 200k => reason for low Splatoon 2 sales) while I have already proven that you're wrong.

I gave you very clear answers, on your quote of just a part of my post, and I wrote to you to see list of all released Switch games until now in PAL region, or is that too hard for you!? :)

I didn't talked only about big games.

I dont see how "liar" has anything with "the person who refuses to give more precise answers", its a fact that they are two totally different things, but you saying you are person who states facts, hilarious.

Lol, you did not prove anything, it's very hard to have much bigger sales if you have very small and limited instal base and that's clear fact, around 15% Switch owners in UK bought game in 1st week, thats quite good number in any case.

I thought you were talking about Switch games not entering the weekly GfK top 40 but you're talking about VGC.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

crash doing amazing for a remake.but they need to make CTR,its the best racing game out there.its so simple yet so fun.just do it Sony.splatoon 2 debut is okay but expected more considering nintendo gamers always brag about the attach rate of 100 percent and to be honest splatoon 2 doesnt look like a 60$ game it should be 40$ but its nintendo they always overpriced their games.

I'm talking about GfK - only 3 games in the top 40 in the first week.
