- Put music back in the OS/eShop and add an option to disable it for people that don't like it, everybody wins that way =P

- Let us save uncompressed screenshots.

- Themes (Especially as My Nintendo rewards, so I can actually use those coins for something).

- Keep improving Wifi performance/signal.

- Virtual Console.

- Bring back the Activity Log or at least make the current one better, it makes no sense to have to wait 10 days to be able to see how long you've been playing a game. Also, no more "Played for X hours or more", just show us the actual playtime.

- 1080p OS when docked.

The OS isn't even 1080p when docked? What the hell? I see now why I have been ambivalent about the displaying quality of the OS on my TV screen.

Yeah, it's 720p on both handheld and docked mode and it looks pretty blurry when docked. It's weird for it to not be 1080p, it's not like the OS is very demanding in the first place.

It makes no damn sense

Yeah, but that is pretty random. For some games it show played hours, for others how long ago I played it first.

For me it kept saying I'd played Fast RMX for a few minutes. Then, one day it just jumped to ten hours. It kept saying I'd played Zelda for like 80 hours when (before I knew it was a thing) I did the math using the parental app and came up with over 120 hours. It did update eventually but I don't think it's accurate at all.

Other than more games?  Apps.  I know everyone has them on other devices, but for this device to be the one that everyone goes to when mobile, then it needs to have netflix and youtube.  There is no excuse to have to open PS4 or a smaller screen mobile just to watch a youtube video or netflix.  Also it would be nice to be able to categorize games on the system into folders that open into a similar one line interface.  Digital Saves and the ability to have multiple systems under Nintendo account.

More unlikely goal: I would also like to have an automatic digital copy available if a hard copy is bought and registered, and have the hard copies be $10 more with registration for digital copy on useable one time. 

You can enable switch parental controls. You'll need a code to access saves if you enable the settings correctly
