I'm usually wary of them now although I did get a few when the concept first appeared. Typically I only consider getting them now if they are linked to the campaign, maps packs I tend to avoid.
Can actually only remember getting two. Assassins Creed 3 and Battlefield 3.
SAO Hollow Realization. I just bought the premium version that came with a season pass, but I haven't touched the game since around December. Got burnt out so I lost out on $20. Might play it again someday, but as of now, its the only game's season pass that I bought that I haven't even touched yet.
Star Wars Battlefront.
Never again.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I was going to write exactly this so might as well quote.
I only ever bought MK8 and BotW DLC packs. Better yet, it's almost the only DLC I ever bought period, it's these plus a handful of songs for Guitar Hero 10 years ago.
Don't buy dlc myself as I see it as a ripoff. Only time I ever felt compelled to was for Mario kart 8 on Wii U. Other than that never.
My most regretful season pass was paying extra for a second hand copy of trials on PS4 because it came with the season pass. The season pass was already activated so I bought a more expensive copy for no reason and lost the receipt.
