I meant the Amazon charts, I follow them dang near constantly.  And of course the PS4 did better first quarter of 2017 than 2016, it had a crap ton of game releases.  I'm not discrediting anything, just saying your attitude lf the PS4 being this inexplicably powerful sales beast is a false narrative, the hgih sales are not that shocking when all things are considered.  

However, I didn't just point out the way it shoots up charts when stock is available.  The fact it sells the way it does at a $120 markup is just plain bananas.  The fact is every time Switch stock shows up anywhere in the States or Japan (or even several European countries), it's gone in very short order.  They are holding raffles in Japan to win a chance to buy the dang thing.  

So no, indicators of the Switch being in incredibly high demand are clear as day to those who are paying attention to the signs.  This is not to say the PS4 is selling badly or anything.  

And I brought up the fire sale because you didn't strut into this thread with your condescending, insulting, pompous attitude until today, when the PS4 shot to number 1 on the back of a sale issolated to one day at one retailer.  So pardon me if I assumed the timing was of significance.

No, I stepped in because you were using selective facts to construct a misleading narrative, making it sound as if the PS4 were outselling the Switch with no extenuating circumstances.  Which is false and if you had owned up to that, I wouldn't have bothered with this conversation cause if you just think the PS4 is more desired have at it.  Instead you insulted me to my face, pardon me if I took offense.  

And yeah, I like Nintendo's games and enjoy the Switch.  I also call sales like I see them and if you don't know that you clearly don't know me very well and should maybe stop pulling assumptions out of your ass.  I own a PS4, think its a great machine.  Also own a gaming PC.  If I thought the PS4 was more in demand *right now*, I would say so.  I have no qualms with having an unpopular opinion, just like I called it years ago when several people were celebrating the brief Xbone successes on the back of numerous fire sales and I said that it would hurt them in the long run.  I look at the facfs I have and judge on that.  And looking at the hear and now - not 3 months ago, not six months from now, right now - I see the Switch is in really, really high demand.  Whether it will outpace the PS4's demand or sales all year, I don't know, I'm not psychic, and to be frank the Switch's trajectory is hard to predict.  

Blue I respect your passion for the PS4 but the personal insults and attacks are not needed when having a regular conversation.

OT: That is a great PS4 sale and a great XB1 sale as well! If I didn't already have a PS4 for myself and one for my son I would have taken advantage of that sale!

And amazon prime got more stock of the PS4 DQ11 bundle and it's back to #5 already. That thing is going to shift serious units if they can keep it in stock. 

in Europe it could be PS4, but Japan and the US are definitely more hyped for the Nintendo Switch currently.
