I know the WiiU is now a dead console, well not to me its not, and Nintendo have finished with it, but think it would be cool if we could got a port of Metroid Samus Returns as a digital download title, seen as how we never got a Metroid on the console.

There still a fanbase on the console, BOTW still sold over one million copies, one might say thats because not everyone could get a Switch, which there is truth to.

Anyway just think it would be cool as a final farewell and give us a Metroid title we never got, it would sell well enough as well, what do any of you think?

To that end, if they really wanted to make it available, they might as well release it just for Wii.

It'd run well enough and could also be played on Wii U.

ya they could but they won't because nintendo are traitors. to this day I got any nintendo console since the n64 day one and never regret it. but what they did with the wii u ..unacceptable. they drop an entire console in favor for another almost identical console midgen and ask for another 330 euro. while every game on it was propably coming for the wiiu in first place. like they promised a real 3d open world mario .. where is this game on my wii u now?? they could easily release those games eshop only and just promote the switch version so people like myself doesn't feel backstabbed. but nooo they won't while keep releasing games for an older handheld which will still get releases beyond 2018.
