i’m now leaning toward a late-July/August Direct, no September. I feel like Nintendo’s new Direct is January (for start-of-year releases)/April (for middle-of-the-year releases and teasers on holiday releases)/August (focused on holiday releases, teaser a game or two for following year) moving forward.

I'm thinking early-mid August for the next general Direct.
They're going to want to give DK Bananza the spotlight for a little while. Give it a couple of weeks to a month to sell on its own, have everyone talking about it, and get all the hype and talk out of its system before moving on to the latter half of the year, at which point we'll get more in-depth looks at Pokemon Legends Z-A and Metroid Prime 4, with the latter getting a release date, and finally the Switch 2's first major exclusive holiday title releasing in November (cough3DMariocough).

I would think they wouldn't release a 3d mario so close to DK. But they are releasing air riders close to MK so who the hell knows.

It wouldn't be right releasing a 3D Mario so close to Donkey Kong's big comeback.

Casting call apparently has been made for the Zelda movie. They need two actors aged anywhere from 16 to 23 to play Link and Zelda.

Yeah but 2 out of the three were remakes. Different scenario.
