The fact that Metroid Prime 4 looks leagues better than MKWorld despite (i) being created for NSW and (ii) selling for $20 less is a little insane.

I hope they've got lots more hidden in Mario Kart World to justify the price. As is, from what I've seen it's only worth $80 CAD.

Very different art styles though. MKW looks great as well imo.

Well it does, but it doesn't look like it's worth about $100 CAD.

When will people understand that Mario games have a cartoonest aesthetic and will never "look better" than games that go for a more realistic aesthetic, depending on what "looking better" means to them. Metroid Prime 4 is "looking better" than Astrobot too, and that's a PS5 game.

my biggest issue is MKWorld’s over-reliance on textures. The roads, the karts, the race track geometries, etc. Metroid Prime 4 is shockingly far less reliant, plus it can run at 4k 60fps.
