Here's the Nintendo Direct for those that missed it:
I'd give it a 7/10. A lot of games that look great, but not many surprises or reveals. DOOM and Wolfenstein II being unveiled was honestly shocking to me, in a good way of course

Not bad looking, supposedly it runs in 60fps too?
Also anyone download and play the new Octopath Traveler demo?

I've played the knight story. It's allright, but I don't want to play too much of it to avoid having to replay it all when it launches. I hope they allow to carry on the savefiles from the demo. Did they allow that with Bravely Default?

I don't think save files transfered for story reason in Bravely Default, cause the demo from what I recall was no in the real game. It was a demo only story. It did transfer over stuff like some items and what have you. Was bravely default the game where you built up a village? I feel like some of that transfered over.
I have a feeling there is a fair amount of stuff left out of these two's origin stories that will be in the main game, so will be worth replaying. Whether that is more side quests, meatier origin, or just cutscenes and such. I mean they want us to fill out a survey based on our play, so would guess they listen to feedback.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I just bought Metroid II: Samus returns with a 10% discount from My Nintendo.
The game looks great. Controls are nice. After 10 minutes already, it plays like a fun game which looks really nice for the 3DS hardware. You need to play this in 3D .
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

I was thrown off by the II, I thought you were talking about Return of Samus at first. But yeah, the game looks really cool, I definitely want to pick it up.

I get my paycheck tomorrow, I want to see how much I'm getting first (apparently we get a bonus for doing well in the Q2, but I don't know how much of a bonus we get exactly).
