Persona is a spinoff much like Mario Kart is a spinoff when people say 3D Mario for instance they're not including the likes of MK or other spinoffs and it's been the same for Persona for a while now. $ sales may not be an complete metric but it gives us the range in which the game is performing as ultimately surpassing pass games would indicate sales are either in range of them or higher, considering it came in 6th on the platform in the month as well in a window that included Pokemon, SMP and Just Dance with the only other two games above it being ACNH and MK8D it's fair to say it did well, SMTIV on 3DS in comparison released in July with little competition for consumer interest the biggest release on 3DS during the month was Shantae.

SMT IV launched on an install base of 8.85m at $40. SMT V launched on an install base of 32.1m at $60.

So SMT V not outselling SMT IV (in terms of revenue) would have been a complete and utter disaster. Without the exact figures it's impossible to call it a great success. (It may very well have done amazingly but this isn't enough to know.)

Yet it's still a highly positive sign which is the point so don't get the issue especially as the same report highlights it's sixth position for the Switch which considering the competition it had in the month, as said before outselling the prior games on release would indicate sales are at least on par and bringing in a return for the developer to make it worth while which is a good thing for the series going forward.

Wasn't SMT IV $50?

Saw this on Nintendolife. There are way more of those patents. According to one you will be able to toghle between different positions while falling, like vertical and horizontal and shoot the bow in every position while in the air. There will be alot of acrobatics in mid air.

I thought this was a pretty good Indie World.  Most games caught my interest at least a little bit.  Highlights to me were Sea of Stars and that Chicory releases later today.

"Ay yo, the Switch port is here!"

OMORI is really good, but as mentioned in the direct it tackles some pretty heavy themes. You might want to stay away if you can't deal with things like depression, anxiety and suicide.
