It's about the developers, not the IP I guess.
I think they shadow dropped seven games after the indie direct. More than usual.

But Dotemu is no longer an indie developer. They were recently acquired by Focus Home Interactive. |
DotEmu is the publisher, Leikir Studio is the developer of Metal Slug Tactics. Doesn't matter to me anyway wether it's an indie or not.
I gotta say, 2021 is a jam packed year for me in terms of new releases, even though it started very slowly with only New Pokemon Snap being a target. But now the hot games keep on coming! I got myself the Ninja Gaiden Collection, Neo The World Ends With You, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, and now Axiom Verge 2 on top. Also, I will definitley get No More Heroes 3 later this month. However, I still want to clean up some backlog so I'm currently busy with the Mega Man Zero Collection, currently near the end of MMZ3, and also in the middle of Apollo Justice on the DS. So many games, so little time...

Oh, damn. I didn't think they would lower the price of DOOM Eternal's Expansion Pass so soon. Thanks for the heads up.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
Really interested to see how Legends Arceus runs at this point, and hopefully they show something that reassures us that the open world will be interesting to explore.
