Can someone tell me when the next Super Smash Bros. for WiiU tournament is?

Around the Network

I'm recently losing all my matches in Splatoon 2 because my team is only 3 people strong. This is happens way too often.

This just sucks. Either people are leaving during the game or Nintendo servers are bad.

Yeah it doesn't have as often to me, but losing players doesnt happen in ranked. So hopefully you get level 10 soon or play with friends for a better experience. Also maybe the losing is on you xD , tips: wall don't count in Splatoon, playing single player mode helps a lot, you can super jump back to spawn to retreat from someone who is after you, if you use duelies you can roll right when you land with the super jump so you don't get immediately killed, you can use splashdown while in super jump, etc.

I'm level 15 and doing 1200 points each round....while my teammates are around 600.... I only like splatzone on ranked...but if we loose, then definitely not because of me.

I feel like I havent really found the right weapon combination for me yet. In the original I used to do damage with 1000 - 1300 points consistently, but now in Splaton 2  I often do much less than that, but have significantly more kills than before. I feel like they tweaked the game to be slightly more agressive. The maps that carried over from the original also seem to be the ones that favor aggressive play.

In the original I used to favor the Splattershot jr./Zappers, so I've been playing mostly duelies for now because I prefer the fast fire rate, but they're not that great for raking in turf war points. I rarely find myself hitting 1000+ and usually do around 800 to 900+, but find myself around 600+ way too often with them.

I also had more dropped teammates lately, wich is annoying.

If you mean hosted by the thread, I'm open to anyone who plays Smash Wii U hosting it. I don't really play Smash Wii U anymore, but I know Uran really likes Smash, maybe he'd be interested.

I've never gotten a team of 3 people before, but I have had the servers shut down today.

There's tournaments all the time, so probably today.

If you mean a major, in that case I don't know.

I go to smash tournaments all the time, was just wondering about the thread tournament

I need a re confirmation of thFrom turfwars, do you get the amount of money based on your points? Or based on your EXP?

In the first game it was based on your points (either in turf war or ranked), can't say for sure about 2 but I assume it's the same.

I need some pro advices for Splatoon 2. In your opinion, which are the best weapons in each competitive mode? And, which are the strategies to excel in them? At the moment I'm having an easy time with them, but I'm sure things will get harder XD.

There's a lot of viable weapons in ranked modes, so it's hard to recommend anything - the only general idea is to stay away from weapons with too short range / low damage (like Splattershot Jr. or Aerospray) as those aren't good for combat, though even then I've seen players doing wonders with those in the past. And as for strategies, again I think that depends a lot on the map/mode and on your teammates too. What you should always keep in mind is trying to play very safe, and remember to focus on covering turf rather than only going for the objective - having control over the map goes a long way towards victory. If you see enemy ink, don't get close, just try to cover it from a distance as there's always the chance of an enemy popping up.

Other than that, my strategy is to just try to complement my teammates. If I notice they're going for the objective all the time, I'll try to stay behind and make sure we don't lose stage control; if I see the match is already running for 2 or 3 minutes and we haven't barely moved the timer, I'll try to do it on my own whenever it feels right.

(I guess these hints apply more to Tower Control and Rainmaker than Splat Zones, but that's because I don't always play Splat Zones since it's my least favorite mode, Turf War included.)

Yeah, I'm trying different weapons and the weapons I use in Turf War don't really work for me in competitive modes (Splattershot has a really short range to be viable). Maybe it won't work lately, but right now the N-ZAP works for me. It has a needed range boost compared to the Splattershot, and I feel that's enough right now. And the special is really good for the team.

I played with the duelies for a long time. Love the dodge mechanic. But I also managed to dodge into water. I also use the aerospray mg which I can easily go over 1000pts in turf war. But the special weapon is not that great. I guess I have to level up more for more weapons.
