The cat doesn't seem to frequent this thread so hopefully the show can continue.

Are we supposed to know what you're talking about? :L

Runner 2 is a good game. Save your condolences for Italian football fans.

EDIT: Since I didn't see it mentioned anywhere, Fire Emblem Warriors received a free update on Thursday. The crown jewel is a new map for history mode that unlocks a new armor attribute for all kinds of weapons, plus special elite weapons as S-rank rewards that come with six built-in skills, including ones that otherwise require 2,000 or 5,000 kills and random chance to unlock them. Rowan and Lianna got new costumes, selling weapons has been improved (select everything you want to sell, then sell everything at once instead of individually like before) and unspecified bug fixes.

I gave it a brief mention, however it unfortunately doesn't seem like the crashing has been addressed.

No, dolphins aren't meant to know what I'm talking about.

I've just seen Sterling's video about the Switch, and I think he more or less summed up my feeling about the platform right now. They nailed the pace of the software. The 3rd party support is encouraging to those who are craving for those games on the system, and, if there's not that much support in the end, 1st party titles, exclusives and indie titles would be enough imho. It's a indie-friendly environment. It doesn't have the over-crowded shitty Steam environment, so little publishers could have more visibility. And it's, right now, free of those... shameful practises that are crowding the AAA industry right now.

I don't agree with some things, but I think he made some valid points about the Switch's success.

EDIT: Oh, and FE:Warriors is crashing on a weekly basis for me. It's a bit bothersome, but it seems that the update hasn't solved it.

Question:

I want these three games for 3ds. They are $20 each on the Eshop, while they are $40 physically. If my 3DS dies, and the online servers for the 3DS shop are gone, will I be able to keep my game somehow? Or should I just by them physically?

Splatoon 2 might be getting an equivalent to Splatoon 1's 2.0 update afterall! A video will be coming out sometime today revealing the game's next update!

New hairstyles pants and gear are confirmed going off of the inkling in this image, but I don't think they'd have an announcement to announce an announcement just for that. I'm sure they'll show off the new maps and squeezer weapon type that were in the datamine, but I'm really hoping for a new game mode.

Nope, but it'll be a good while before they shut down the eshop. I would check for Black Friday deals first, but otherwise $20 off is well worth going digital.
