The “New RPG” reads to me as a soft confirmation of Xenoblade 4 being in development. (And very likely in deep development at that.) Very curious when they’ll drop it… I’m super eager to finally give Xenoblade a shot!
Edit— Okay yeah I just looked at Tetsuya Takahashi's record and... that's Xenoblade Chronicals 4 in development right there. Has only ever worked on Xenoblade since the OG released on Wii, has been the executive director of every Xenoblade release as well. [Source.]

But every level in the game used motion controls. |
I seem to remember playing with the analog stick in the Arwing. Been a while since I played it. Maybe the motion controls worked well at times. I guess the second screen thing was the biggest problem.

I was thinking a new Star Fox could have at least one stage with Fox in powered armor, but that might just make him into a Metroid character.

I hadn’t really thought about it… but Age of Imprisonment selling through 1 million on NS2 in only a month-in-a-half is kinda crazy esp when you consider how small the install base currently is. Same can be said for Kirby Air Riders. Makes me genuinely wonder whether these games have potential to move upwards of 3-4 million LTD.
I can definitely see it for Kirby— aggregate review score has actually moved up all the way to 83OC (only 2pts below Forgotten Lands), and word-of-mouth has been very positive.

Nate says Star Fox is getting revealed sooner than most of you may expect.
….SPOILERS: it’s sometime this month through the Nintendo Today app. Not surprising as this would fit well with the Mario Movie and it’s emphasis on Star Fox.
