Would rather it was a new Star Fox that's like Star Fox 64. WITHOUT MOTION CONTROLS. |
I would be happy with Star Fox 0 DX, the motion controls were actually good, the problem was the forced dual screen setup with the gamepad.

If Nintendo gives us just a Star Fox Zero DX then it will sell just as poorly as the original.

Many Wii U games sold poorly on the Wii U and not so poorly on the Switch.

Theres a good game in there, but the Wii U pad kinda ruined it for me personally.

It will only work if the motion controls are removed.

I agree. The game was really fun in levels where the controls were more traditional.

I personally would prefer a new Star Fox game that doesn't require motion controls. As on option is fine for those who want it. Star Fox 64 is the only entry in the series I've ever played. It was one of my most played N64 games as a kid.

Would be great to get a Kid Icarus Uprising DX as well. Great game, but the controls are a bit cumbersome on the 3DS.

But every level in the game used motion controls.
Monolith Soft's career website has three different notices:
— Stealth (@Stealth40k) April 6, 2026
- New RPG (led by Tetsuya Takahashi)
- Zelda
- R&D
I think that gives a pretty good indication of what the priorities are over at Monolith Soft. pic.twitter.com/ueMizdSdOf
