wtf. Two years? This is almost as bad as when I realise the PS5/XS are 5 years old.
I agree though, Wonder is the best 2d Mario, at least in the 21st century, and SMO is my favourite Mario platformer.

Nintendo Switch 2 is now officially the ultimate Luigi's Mansion machine (as of October 30th, 2025). I'm tempted to do a full runthrough on Halloween... but I also would rather continue my Sonic playthroughs. Plus, I've played Luigi's Mansion at least a thousand times— one of only six games I played between ages 2y and 9y.
Countdown to Pikmin 5 it's clearly in development the amount of attention the series is getting at the moment.

Hot take but I prefer Wonder over Odyssey lol.
Still got Rogue Flight, Cadence of Hyrule, Wizordum, Sky Rogue, and Iron Lung sitting on my Switch 1 waiting to be played; in 8+ years I still haven't been able to clear up my backlog, such an incredible library.
My Switch 2 is already accumulating a backlog as well as I still have to finish Star Wars Outlaws, (took a break as I can't play the same game for too long without getting bored) and I have yet to even start Hitman.
It's a good time to be a gamer.
