Think there will be a WarioWare on Switch 2 anytime soon? They could easily do lots of microgames with Switch 2 mouse controls.

Probably coming year two or three if I were to guess. “WarioWare Move It!” only needed two years.

lol either ive played waaay too much 3D in my life (which, yeah, I prolly have… I have 100% beaten every 3D Mario least two times over the past three years alone), or… [SMGalaxy2 SPOILERS!]

Spoiler!

The Perfect Run is comically easy. Without the 1 Life restriction, the level is legitimately a cakewalk. With the 1 Life restriction, then make that 15-20min worth of gametime. It’s just a long level with “jank” that could cost you a run.

Not sure if this would constitute a “major info leak,” butthe release window schedule for all Pokémon games up until 2030 has dropped. It’s old (seems to be from early 2024) so likely not even be accurate. Plus, there’s nothing even remotely surprising listed here: next generation of Pokémon is coming at the exact times when anybody would expect.

Edit: I’m seeing that there’s actually more than just schedules…yeah this is a major data release. In any case, seeing that one screenshot of Gen 10 is enough to convince me to hold off on Legends Z-A. That games looks incredible! Also, project Seed sounds crazy!! Pokémon about to have a complete 180 on Switch 2?? This is the first time in nearly a decade I’ve been really excited for Pokémon!

Seed is the craziest project there, the videos doing the rounds on social media show a new game engine has been created with one showing a small demo of it for Gen 10 which has a large implication in what's to come despite how small the clip is.

Edit: It seems GF are now doing more development in house rather than outsourcing.

(why am i the only one active in this thread lol??) It’s crazy to think that next year may be the first time I purchase a Pokémon game day one since BDSP. Five years of holding off after having been burned so bad by SwSh and BDSP (the latter of these two was so bad that I literally stopped playing all video games for six months. I thought I had grown out of video games, when in reality, I had just played a not-so-fun game).

Pokemon's not my thing, I didn't grow up with them so I have no attachment to the brand; that and I don't like turn based gameplay and find the graphics of the recent games unacceptably poor.

The audience doesn't seem to care though, at least not enough of them to affect sales.

Atm I'm working my way through Star Wars Outlaws, (decent 7.5/10 game elevated by fantastic graphics) then I'm gonna try and knock off Hitman before Kirby Air Riders hits.

I want this music in the next Donkey Kong game. Especially if the next one has a haunted level.

Curiously I pre ordered Z-A today, and it's my first time getting a Pokémon game day 1 since Ultra Moon, which is the game that completely soured my relationship with Pokémon games. I've been waiting for the main series titles to become good again ever since.

BALL x PIT, the latest game from Devolver Digital, is out now on Switch 1 and 2
