We cant make life better there. They have to make life better in their own countries. If we get rid of borders society will collapse because then there would be a billion or more people going to the west. Social systems in europe would immediatly collapse. You cant give more than you have. There is a limit on ressources in the west. And we cant take responsibility for everyone in the world. Same as giving food aid. Which just increases the numbers of people in poor countries. Which then need more food. Its a vicious circle.
The west needs to stop "helping" its counter productive. And we need boarders or the small pocket of western Civilization will be crushed by billions of immigrants. We need to give the other countries space and time to develop alone. China did exactly that. India will do it too. Immigration needs to profit the country or else its not helping anyone.

2. Even if he did support Trump, this won't save him from deportation. There is no "support Trump to become legal" clause. The law is the law.

And for the people saying we shouldn't have borders or that you're "illegal in one plot of land because you were born in another plot of land, and decided to move to it" if borders are arbitrary then why don't you allow random people to live inside your house and eat your food/use your electronics?

The farm industry in USA relies heavily on illegals. Sure some hire ones on temp visas but most probably don't care if they are illegal or have visas. The main reason why is because the pay is poor and the work is hard. You don't see many Americans wanting to do the hard work for such little compensation. So the problem will always exist with the current system. It's like expecting health care cost to go down when you keep the same shitty healthcare system in place.

There's 3 big key reasons for immigration
Stopping invasive species from hitching a ride over hear and destroying local ecosystems.
Having background checks in order to cut down on criminals.
Keeping foreign diseases out so that locals don't get wrecked by sickness.
Just ask Native Americans how well illegal immigration worked for them, along with any other people who were conquered by non-natives.

The difference I guess is that while shelter is necessary, which makes someone having their own living quarters a must, a territorial border that puts a group of people who will never even know a miniscule percentage of the people belonging to that group while trying to keep out another group of people that just want a better life, and where they can still have their own shelter, seems unnecessary.
