Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft Won the Coverage Battle of E3 2017; Assassin’s Creed Origins Was the Most Covered Game

Cool. Microsoft won the press coverage. Meanwhile, Sony continues to win where it counts; selling more consoles and games than Microsoft. Sony is well on their way to beating Microsoft for the 3rd straight generation.

Surprised last years Nintendo was so low given the whole Zelda madness. I guess less articles are going to be made when your E3 is about one game?

Still, surprised it's the lowest.

MS won the last generation over Sony, they had a huge profit margin while Sony was losing money until the end of the generation... let's say 2-1.

I don't think thats true, they Both lost a lot of money Especially with the RRoD the 360 had, I think that alone cost MS a couple Billion. But on top of it all the main reason why Microsft Shareholders want to get rid of the Xbox brand is because they've virtually never made a profit with the console in all of its forms. Double check me of cource but theres a couple articles related to this, I just cant find it at the moment.

I'd still keep it at 3-0. Sony sold more consoles than Microsoft, despite Microsoft having a full year headstart. That's the only reason 360 sold more software than the PS3.

As a PS4 owner I must admit that the Microsoft press conference made me really excited about all the games they showed coming out for my console.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

Why am I not surprised who posted this thread?

"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"

Hey, maybe MS should release a new console every year, that would really stick it to Sony

This was ultimately my thought as well, but with PC and PS4 as the areas they were showing games for.
