Forums - Gaming - *GIANT BOMB* Interview with Phil Spencer

Here is an Interview from Giant Bomb that i wish every type of gamer can watch and listen in on.

It goes for alittle less than 1 hour so be warned its a long one. However if your keen to understand the direction MS are choosing and the decisions they have made lately than this interview covers alot of things.

Enjoy the video.

Is he mentioning money a lot?

Yes nothing but $$$

Could someone post the basic ideas? I'm at work and most definitely don't have the time to watch all of it

You have the wrong work then.

The interview in a nutshell...

Xbox is gonna keep doing its thing, MS doesn't care if you're on console or PC, BC is awesome, X1X was a chance to make Xbox synonymous with power again, VR is going to be relevant one day but it needs to lose the wires, and Jim Ryan is a douche for his Minecraft crossplay comments.

Fortunately I had nothing better to do so I summed it up in my previous post.

He didn't have much to share really. He gets into some details about what Xbox is doing, he feels Xbox can succeed even if others do, he continues to be diplomatic about competitors. He came off well but we didn't learn much.

Jeff had questions about where Xbox is going, will there be another X1 or something new, but obviously Phil can't answer that.

Thanks for the info. So it was pretty much things that we already knew. Good to see that they still keep an interest in console gaming.
