Can't say I have enjoyed the new trilogy... But 343i taking their time on Halo 6 is a good thing.
I rather developers take their time making games good rather than rushing out a release.

I would love to play Halo 6 in 2018 but then again, it's best they take their time and make sure it'll be a great game.

This screams of back to the drawing board to me.

I hope that had a plan b if H5 didn't work out. I hated the game and could not be happier to see a direct followup abandoned for a more conclusive follow up to Halo 4

Nope. Vgchartz is surely undertracking it not to mention that they don't track digital at all. Though, the campaign simply wasn't up to halo standards. It does need more time to rest.

Didn't play Halo 5, but from the cutscenes - and how the story unfolded - i can see why people werent't to happy about it.
Actually, i played some Halo 4 and wasn't really happy with it either. Something about the story that just... didn't feel as awesome as the other Halos.

Halo 5 multiplayer is the best in the series though.
Halo 5 > Halo 3 > Halo Reach > Halo 2 (multiplayer only)

I am not counting Halo CE because it was not on Xbox Live.

lo no. It's going to release next year like clock work. "Won't be soon" just means they aren't announcing it this year.

Spencer made it clear that they won't show games anymore if they aren't sure that they release maximum a year after release (at least that's what I got from his interviews).

So, if it will release holidays 2018, I wouldn't expect the reveal before early 2018 and I guess it will be E3 2018 and could still release end of 2018 (but maybe also 2019)

What did Spencer say? That there won't be game reveals anymore if there is a possibility that the games won't be like what they show so that fans don't get wrong expectations anymore.
