I don't think you can really blame Nintendo if 3rd party devs don't put their games on their console

Do we blame the fanbase or over 100 devs?

launching a 600 USD console with a loss of 200 USD per HW sold certainly is taking no risk. |
That was not risk that was being arrogant.
By risk on the nintendo side I am talking about inovation, game cube tried the mini disk, Wii tried the motion control, now switch also is trying something new about home console. On the handled side with the pad added to DS or 3DS (I cannot remember which)
The others just build a more powerful of what they had before in the previous gen

Mini disk = risk
CD, DVD and Bluray = arrogance
Ok got you.
I think I shall just ignore your comments in the future.

I think people are forgetting the Wii U had a bunch of third party AAA level games around the launch of the system despite being a downgrade in specs even compared to the PS3 and X360. Games like Black Flag, Arkham, Watchdogs, COD, etc. along with Ubisoft releasing ZombiU were on the system because of how the prior Wii sold and how they hoped the Wii U would do. However none sold exceptionally well on the Wii U due to some of them being more just enhanced editions of games out on other systems along with the systems late launch in November. The Wii U ending up being one of the worse system sellers in Nintendo history didn't help in the long run either. It made third party developers second guess or at least cautious when regards to making more software on the system.
Companies think about the revenue they can make first and foremost, more than brand loyalty (unless they are under contract as a 2nd party dev or something), if the Switch continues to sell at a breakneck pace and reach or beat the Wii U lifetime sales by early 2018 or sooner then expect more third parties to show their support of the system. If not it will continue to be a slow pace of third party support being shown for the Switch outside of indie devs.
Nintendo seems to have changed their attitude, by allowing third parties more access to their main franchises along with occasionally funding of games (Bayonetta 2 for example)
For me I like games of all sorts and not tied down to a specific brand, from games like Horizon and Persona 5 for PS4, Gears of War and Halo for MS, to games like Mario and Zelda with Nintendo. All three giants of the gaming industry bring something different and are why they still exist today. Not going the way of Atari and Sega.

You are truly puttind word in my mouth.
Arrogance is releasing a $600 home console and suggest people to get a second job.
They learned their lesson so well that in the next generation their lauching price was 1/3 less expensive , $400.
And you have just prove my point
"CD, DVD and Bluray "
CD <DVD <Bluray
Next gen just more powerfull than the gen before.
Now PS VR is what I would called risk.

Don't let market reasons cloud your judgement on why Nintendo don't have 3rd parties, it's a conspiracy.

Sure sure, WiiU was a very big risk and mini disk as well. And I'm the one puting words in your mouth.
