It would be cool if it had a multiplayer mode like evolve a group of player vs someoen as big robot. Would be cool if they added guns and had a team deathmatch type mode.

Because all games need to have MP and with the same modes right?

Its not a must have but i personally play lots of multiplay shooters so i would like more games to have gunplay PvP multiplayer.

Good for you, I never play MP so I see no point in they expending money on making it, and you already have a plethora of shooters to choose.

Your games comprise 99% of the market and almost wiped out classic video game genres throughout 7th gen.

I had to endure nothing but lame versus military and space Marine shooters all last gen which lasted almost a decade. An RPG or adventure game or two without guns and competing won't kill you.

What on earth are you on about? Believe it or not, some people enjoy both story rich single-player games and playing versus without "pwning n00bs". I play alot of online versus games just to relax, not to be a pro or "bump penises" :D

Take Quantum Break for example. A great, great and rich story but man there should have been a multiplayer, co-op horde or something. It would have added so much value and make the most of the game mechanics. Nobody has to play multiplayer but I can't think of a reason how it would be better not to have an option to play it.

Well it wasn't "necessary" for Quantum Break either but it would have added much more value and reason to play it after completing the story. Whether it's generic or not is up to devs and as a consumer I don't give a shit how much money it costs. Diverting time from devs is a good point but it can be done, Uncharted 4 has a great campaign and a good multiplayer, no?

I'm all for having an option to play multiplayer and hopefully Microsoft will deliver it for their upcoming games.

I'm not buying that "no more gens" talk. Why would they want to be stuck forever in a gen were they are seen as lagging behind Sony? They would have to fight an uphill battle, a new gen is a fresh start that puts everyone in an even ground to compete. And it's not like they are improving, this year their disavantage only grew. Sony would be more benefited if this gen lasted forever.

Also, a new gen is the shiny new product. It doesn't matter how many X1s they release, a PS5 would look more advanced in the eyes of the consumer, even if it really wasn't. The older models would also held back the more potent X1 against a new generation opponent (that would have full backwards compatibility).
