You guys ruin every game that comes out with this unhealthy obsession with everything being versus (see The Division ruined multiple times until all gear was equally boring and useless because of people whining about DZ and PVP).
I swear you are the same type of person who's looking to start something revving at me in some POS 350Z or slammed Infinity when I'm just minding my own business in a CTS V.
Why is everything always about competing or having something to prove? Can you actually enjoy single player story rich games like Horizon Zero Dawn or The Last of Us unless there is a versus mode for you to be "pro" and "pwn n00bs"? Probably not.
If that's all you want you don't deserve games like Horizon Zero Dawn.
One decent bit of favorable news for this god forsaken console, the type of game sorely missing and desperately needed on Xbox, and you're already asking for it to be just another dumb versus shooter. And this is why the platform is hopeless and destined to die off. |
What on earth are you on about? Believe it or not, some people enjoy both story rich single-player games and playing versus without "pwning n00bs". I play alot of online versus games just to relax, not to be a pro or "bump penises" :D
Take Quantum Break for example. A great, great and rich story but man there should have been a multiplayer, co-op horde or something. It would have added so much value and make the most of the game mechanics. Nobody has to play multiplayer but I can't think of a reason how it would be better not to have an option to play it.
