Am I actually the rare one who enjoyed the prequels . I know there where far from being as good as the original trilogy , but they where decent . ( OK , Il admit , I to almost slept trough the first one from the lack of action :P ) .

Still , for me Star Wars by far ... and even though I consider TLOTR to be better than the new SW movies , they are not that far from eachother ( note : I consider myself a SW fan , so this might not be the most objective judgment :) ) .

Maybe I just didn't get into the Lord of the Rings craze. I really tried to, but I couldn't enjoy them. As for Star Wars, it's my favorite form of anything. I watched Episode I at work a couple of nights ago. I don't know if my mind is open more, or if it was because I know where the story is going, but I REALLY enjoyed it! Yes, there were still annoying bits, but still......

This is like comparing apples and oranges. Still, I'll go with LOTR, because of the overall consistency of the quality. The last Star Wars movies were awful. :p
