You wrote that few times now in this thread, what you trying to achieve!?

Industry now in 2017. and at end of 2013. are not same, remakes and ports are today normal thing, but that wasn't case when PS4 was launched. I personally wanted more ports/remaster for PS4 from start because I didn't have PS3 and I missed some great PS3 games.

What I wanted? To point how users are still fine with putting that it's ok when their platform of choice do things.

So you keep ignoring fact that remasters and ports are today standard for gaming industry, while that wasn't case when PS4 was launched. People are today fine with PS4 remasters/ports/remakes also, people were very positive about Shadow of Colossus remake.

And it only became standard due to Sony and yet I doubt many of the ones criticizing would praise it... it was all "sony only make remasters because they don't know how to create games"

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Of Course that isn't due to Sony only, we start receiving tons of remasters of 3rd party games on PS4 and XB1 right from launch of those consoles, and MS also had some remasters. And yes, its logical that at start people will complain about lotsa pots and remasters, but later that become standard for industry.

Ok so Sony doesn't even get credit for it. Ok I'm done here.

It has credit of course, but 3rd party, MS and Nintendo also have credit, offcourse its not "only became standard due to Sony".

Yes, same credit on spearheading it as making it after you say everyone wants it..

Mario Maker can work as the Switch has touchscreen.

But doesnt the Switch have to be docked to play it on the tv?

Two solutions:

  • In editor's mode docked, use the IR sensor capabilities of the Joycon to drag course elements on the TV (like the Wiimote could with a sensor bar). It is butchered and awkward compared to touch screen, but still a solution.

or...

  • Disable docked mode while in editor's mode completely (editing courses) - notification telling you that you must undock your Switch in order to edit courses.

Just look number of ports/remasters of 3rd parties on PS4/XB1 in their 1st year and, than look number of Sony games that are remasters/ports in 1st year on PS4, and you will easily realise that didnt "became standard only due to Sony".
