even at 23 games.... I'm still one of the slowest members here in terms of how often I buy games compared to how long I've been a part of the group....

Considering I appear to have joined a year before this group was made, was buying 3rd party games for the Switch a solid 9 months before it launched!

And.... Because digital foundry told me it was another solid port on the machine.

Preloading Skyrim now onto my Switch for midnight launch... and me dissappearing into my 6.2inch world for another huge adventure.

You know.... while I have gotten a ton of games on the switch I'm really happy so far with my progress in comparison to other consoles wall of shame that I have as a backlog.
I would wager that I have completed less than 10% of my X360 or PS3 titles from last gen... same again with PS4 but with the Switch I've finished and am refinishing (100%) Zelda on master mode, have over 500 Moons in Mario, rank number 1 in Ireland in Tetris online (by about 3000 rank over number 2 lol) Have 95 hours of play in Splatoon (would consider it.... complete, as much as you can in that kind of game) Finished little inferno (twice... went back for my hug) , Sonic Mania (100%) Every puzzle done in Picross (working through the mega picross ones now) 100%'d MK8D for all unlocks.

Basically when I can take the machine out and play it where ever I am.... I tend to get to the end of games, rather than just add them to a backlog to never look at...

That said the following games I've yet to touch...

So aye... I've still got some wall of shame going on there, but it's no where near as bad as my 100+ titles on the PS4 which are still un started.

The search feature for threads on VGchartz is actually so bad that I bookmarked this thread to be able to come back and add things into, if it isn't one of the official console circle jerk threads which get bumped up everytime someone wants to finish off another member then these cool long running threads can become lost in a sea of new threads, which is a huge shame because this is a fantastic idea to encourage and monitor how well 3rd party games are being taken up by users here and also I've used this thread as a means to ask questions of others in here about games they've bought.

Nothing beats first hand exp in my ... experience :D in comparison to "I saw a vid on youtube that sed the frames were paced badly and that makes the game no fun!!"

Have to say btw, you have one awesome collection of games for the machine, you've definitely gone the other way to me though, I've just 5 retail games now and looking at filling up my 128GB card with the addition of Skyrim today.

Welp, I just bought Skyrim.

That's the beauty of this system.  It gives you more time to play your games than you could ever imagine.  You never realize how much of the day you're wasting just waiting around until you get a Switch.

Mainly the prices for me, most games are more expensive than I'm willing to pay for.

What's that? Not heard about it.

Yeah I like to plan ahead... I have 3 WiiU games though.... and never had a WiiU, maybe it's not such a great idea :D

Ah FFS lol, I was off looking for Switch related news on something called a "buddy list" :D thought it might have been some way to share accounts and games like you can with PS4/3/Vita systems.

That sounds cool though, will save me a whole bookmark space on my list in firefox! Been meaning to search for the thread about the fixes you have lined up for the site to read down through them each time it happens... but it doesn't annoy me enough to use the bad search function to find that thread XD but.... you know if I make a comment on an article here... I get notifications about peoples replies to that comment right... but if I go and reply to their comments... I then get a notification that I have made a reply which I need to click away to hide the notify icon. Should there not be something which ignores comments made by the user from appearing as a notification for themselves?

Perhaps there is already a method to not get these... but they are moderately annoying... not really annoying, just more they're a pointless thing which happens and it comes off as something which shouldn't happen on a site.
