For those with 200+ games: How do you do guys to even afford to buy that many games?

90% of the time I wait for a sale, before I buy an Indie on Switch. My BestBuy Card gets me 8% cash back, which is an 8% discount, so long as I pay my balance before it rolls over. Nintendo gives 5% back in coins. My state doesn't charge sales tax on digital purchases. So, I'm usually paying 30% to 70% of what the actual retail price of an Indie game is.

As for physical games, my Best Buy Gamer's Club gets me 20% off all physical games. I still get 8% cash back from my credit card. And physical games still get me $0.60 in Gold Coins. A Physical Nintendo game that would cost me $64.20 after taxes only costs me $46.92 after taxes.

My Best Buy Club Membership expires in November though, and there's no way to renew it. I'm gonna miss it.

I'm thinking they have extra 400 dollars per month ? So . I guess there like already payed there bills and stuff . So they spend it on games? <3

Exactly. I don't make a ton of money, but I don't have a car, and my apartment is cheap. My cell phone bill is only $27 a month for basic talk/text. I've never lived without at least $400 extra a month left over after paying bills. Most months I have nearly $600 extra. Buying a small 1 bedroom house within the next year, so I can save even more money. Mhwahahahahahahaha!!

If there are people who can afford 20+ cars, there are people who can afford 200+ games.

I doubt @TalonMan or @Ganoncrotch have anywhere near 20 cars, but taken together the two have over 500 games.

Quick check there... my bank account says I'm allowed to get 10 cars in the last 5 years according to autotrader :o! I have zero interest in a car given my work is done via public transport as is my trips out of the country as the town I live in has great infrastructure, I have a Bus/Train and Airport all within 15 mins of where I'm sitting. I'm able to drive though! That was something I never wanted to be in a situation where someone was hurt or in need of me to drive somewhere and not be able to do so.

I've said this a load, as a kid I had to save up for around 4 weeks to buy both Soleil and Sonic 1 on the megadrive, both of which I still have to this day, but those games were also just 11.99, as an adult I never wanted to be in that situation so I just don't think about cost too much when it comes to games I want, or games I want to support. Zelda breath of the wild for example was one where I got the dlc just to give Nintendo more money , same with Paladins recently I just chucked them some micro transactions because that game has given a ton of good fun and the cost up front was 0 I gave what I thought the game was worth.

I'm so tempted to buy that just to try out the 8 player split screen mode, it looks awesome. I actually got out a measuring tape as well to see just how big each of the 8 panels would be using my projector setup..... each player would still have their own 40 inch TV worth of wall size lol, I remember back to playing Halo on my little Grundig 16 inch TV in 4 player split screen.... can't even imagine doing that now.

Been forever since I updated my list. Here are new editions since my last update. Obviously, I'm not including ones I received for free for reviews:

Monopoly
Rayman Legends Definitive Edition
Yooka Laylee
Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero
Cadence of Hyrule (does this count?)
Hollow Knight
Valkyria Chronicles 1
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VIX
Lego DC Super-Villians
Wargroove
Tiny Metal
Starlink Battle for Atlas
Yoku's Island Express
Megaman Legacy Collection
Astro Bears
THEM Bombs
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2
Celeste
Mighty Gunvolt Burst

I should have a total of 36 third party games (35 if Cadence of Hyrule doesn't count).

It's clear they went all out with the port. Like I played Virtua racing online yesterday, that's not something you can say about retro games very often

To be fair, it's not hard to afford that many games with a steady career. I have the income for it, but nowhere close to enough time.

Whoa, long time no post. Lemme get back in business:

Physical:

Dark Souls remastered
Dragon's Dogma
Wolfenstein II

Digital:

NBA 2K 2019
XeoDrifter
Little Nightmares
Into the Breach
