That worries because the campagne stuff they showed looked boreing.
If its also ugly....

Watched the 10-minute demo on Xbox Daily yesterday and it looks fine to me. I guess it's depends on opinions.
I have to say that the graphics looks like a remaster of the first Crackdown
I guess this is where expectations lie at the moment. This game isn't "ugly" per se, but we've come to expect so much more graphically from games that this looks very disappointing.
PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS
A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

Yeah. It looks ok. Earlier in the generation it would have been fine. It's been in development for a while, must not have been a smooth process. I'll still buy the game hoping they do better next time. At least the Gameplay looks solid.
Looks like a Crackdown game to me. I didn't expect a photorealistic version of a cell shaded game based on what they've shown prior. That said Crackdown wasn't pretty on the X360 either.
I'm more concerned about the mechanics and the feel being true to Crackdown. Looking forward to the Orb collecting grind and the sandbox chaos.
Not going to lie though, Agents of Mayhem is looking like its locked on showing up Crackdown though.

I dunno. The game looks boring. I literally watched Austin creed and Samoa joe from the wwe play the game and honestly it looks underwhelming. I thought we were going to see a good story and destruction. Just underwhelming to me. If this is all it is I can see why a vague montage was made for it and it will in trouble come November.

Crackdown has always been ugly/bland. Its going for a comic book presentation. The series is more technically impressive than visually. Open world game with lots of action and heavy physics. Just Cause does that with better graphics but not as fun in my opinion. I've seen gameplay of Crackdown 3 and it looks fine. It will also use X1X's power for native 4K and other visual polish. |
Pretty much this. I have played all of the Crackdown games and they have never been graphical pretty games. I was hoping for Crackdown 3 to change this but with the Trailer and a gameplay one out there on YouTube, my hopes were dashed. Crackdown 3 will definitely not be a graphical showcase game for MS but then again it never was.

One would think Microsoft would've had them showcase the destruction, but it looks like it's not going to reach that bar that was set for the destructions. Hopefully it does.
