I'd say the XOne is holding the XOneX back.

It's probably just a conscious choice by the developers to avoid a frame rate discrepancy between Xbox One & Xbox One X players to avoid people playing on the new console having an unfair advantage.

The only thing holding X1X back is the potatoe they used as a CPU.

PS clearly explains Pro kinda does 4k, and people lose it when they hear about checkerboarding. XB says 1X does up to 4k/60fps, and people blame Pro for non 60fps games on XB1X.

This statement is just damage control, and Phil at least tries to side step it. Good for him. Too much 4k/60fps marketing for XB1X that was only partially true, but is taken as gospel now.

xbox one x is too expensive for it's hardware . It has Jaguar (the main cause for 30 fps) and 4k checkboarding.

Also, what about Crackdown, AC Origins, they are all 30 fps. Papa phil talks too much bullshit
