Honestly, I am not goint to argue in circles. You are the outlier here. Most real Monster Hunter fans who have actually invested their time and energy into the series are with me on this. There are thousands of comments saying the same things I am.

I am not going to argue with somebody who attempts to mind-read, even after I explained what my point was, that never goes anywhere.
A year from now, when the game sells less than half what a main series Monster Hunter game does, you will know why, because fans of Monster Hunter don't want open-world Action-game #1000 (w Monster Hunter skin.)
Monster Hunter Tri's problem wasn't its atmosphere, it was its lack of content. Almost everyone was hyped for the game before it released. The only people who are hyped for this game are people who aren't fans of the series for the sole reason of graphics.
I've been quite vocal on this forum about how I think the Monster Hunter series has stagnated, but the solution isn't to change the game into something it is not to appeal to Western audiences.
