Forums - Sony - At this point Sony can have an ok show and still prevail

Its over at this point. Sony could just cut their show in half and just show a couple of exclusives and still come out winners. All they would have to show is the new IP from Suckerpunch and they are Square. There is so much they could save for the their second show of the year. LOL

They could cancel their show and I'd still be more inclined to pick up a PS4 Pro, than an Xbox One X

While I agree... I think Sony is absolutely going to kill it this year. I wanna know what this whole "- J" thing is all about. There's rumors going around that Sony has some big surprises this year that's going to leave jaws on the floor. If true the crowd is going to go wild. There's so many good games and unexpected surprises like rumors such as Resistance 4 and some other things. If even half of these rumors this could be one of Sony's best E3's in years even after the year after year winning streaks! This day will be filled with joy and one to remember.

Let's hope! I also hope Nintendo offers some serious surprises on Tuesday. I really am hoping we get a new Metroid! >.

Dont know. The announcement of Ori alone for me is hard to beat. Sequal looks as good as the first. Unless Sony announces a hidden Gem. Nothing in there line up interests me so far. Ill wait and see if they can sell me a PS4 Pro after E3.

tbh I wouldn't go that far. There is still Nintendo who could still have a stellar show. Sony can hit themselves a home run here after what we have got so far. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped an unveil (and only 1) to keep for a date closer to whenever that games reveal is.
Anyhow, Spider-Man, GoW, Days Gone and Dreams getting good showings will be important.

Yeah, true but I feel Nintendo is more of a companion console than a competitor. They arent even fighting over third party anymore. They compliment Sony or Xbox. Sony has 4 first party AAA games to show that have a chance to be homeruns by themselves. If Sony announces that even two of their four major games are launching this year ontop of the third paety exclusives..this year would've been one of the most dominant years in gaming for Sony.  Being able to say  you dropped Horizon: Zero Dawn, Neir: Automata, Persona 5, Spiderman and  (either God of War, Days Gone & Dreams) in the same year......wow dude.

lol True. It shows that its paramount to make games that take advantage of your consoles power. Shades of the PS3, having the worst looking multiplats but the best looking exclusives.

True enough. Nintendo dropping the Wii U library on the Switch library would be enough to beat Microsoft for me, but Nintendo never stays down with the first party. If they announce Bayonetta 3 I am going to flip.

I'm sure Sony will survive

that really hasnt effected Sony's exclusives. Uncharted and Horizon for example did great even though they were announced far off from release. E3 is a big show, and if they have a game they want to push heavily like Horizon, GoW or Days Gone then E3 is the best place to announce it. even if MS had a bad show, Sony is pushing their games regardless.

@OP: i kinda agree, from what we know Sony will have a far more interesting show. and thats not taking into consideration of what we dont know.
