If metro was exclusive that would have cut deep. MS origanally had this franchise console exclusive on 360 but great to see it safely on playstation. 

An exclusive splinter cell would have hurt too although only a little. Still hoping ubisoft announce that.

its specs on paper dont really look all like big of a leap from the ps4 pro and it looks like they basically copied the ps2 phats design.

also at $499 for a mid generation console, god help us when the next generation console eventually sees the light of day.

This price does fall in line with what I had been expecting it to be.....

I real shocker in all this is that all this time there has/had been an increasing number of people making the x1x out to be this generation defining trump card from MS.

I think people are going to be surprised how little everyone that doesn't have a PC cares about 4k gaming now. Especially when its $500.

What I don't get about MS though is this. They saw first hand what a $500/$600 price tag did to the mighty PlayStation brand. Their most successful console so far rode on the back of that herculean sony fuck up. Yet they released the xb1 at $500. That tanked....... and nw they are "again" releasing the x1x at $500?Like don't they learn?

Here is the kicker.... by the time this console is out, you will be able to buy a PS4 for less than half its price..... and play the exact same games that it plays....... that 4k better stream diamonds.

Is it just me? or were the people cheering during the xb1 conference "planted".....

I mean, cheering for 4k bluray plyback and memory bandwidth? Like really?

People complained about the Switch being 299 instead of 249. I don't think a $500 console is simply feasible in today's day and age.

That's just ridiculous. And I assume they mean that its a timed exclusive if you dont look at pc versions?

Some people around the world beg for bread, others cheer for memory bandwidth. It all depends on how desperate you are. 

I think XB has either realized that trying to compete directly with the true PS is an uphill battle, like climbing Everest, or they have decided that they are going to become the Apple of the console market. Either way, they have made it clear that they are not going to try and go head to head with PS and are rather setting their own course and taking along whoever will follow.

500 gb, 1tera or 2 tera?

It looks like MS soft exit of the console market for the windows gaming market has indeed begun. I'm not sure if they will keep the XBOX brand alive at this point (IMO).
