Yea, I think that's going to end up being the launch date. God help them if Sony goes aggressive and gets out a $299 Pro. Dead in the water.
What the heck is going on?

From neogaf.
This seems fake.
The name seems to have been leaked via Bestbuy Canada's newsletter: Xbox Scorpio

Smart IMO. The One brand is obviously damaged and people are already familiar with the Scorpio branding, however Microsoft will still have to make sure they properly communicate that all Xbox One games run on it.

When has a gaming company ever launched the name of hardware by the project name?
Revolution
NX
Natal
Morpheus
Neo
NGP
Durango
All abandoned, I wouldn't count on it.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Unless hes pulling a fast one... or MS are changeing it last minute, it seems its going to be 499$. |
I think this is fake, M$ want people to spread fake news so when the real price shows, people will be crazy happy about it.

I see what you're saying, but how many times have companies publicly used codenames for their hardware? Ever since Project Scorpio was announced a year ago Microsoft has been using it quite a lot, I could see them sticking with it.
Well, goddamn, they really mean business. As in; they mean to leave the console business if this is anywhere near true.
