I had both I liked the N64 but I loved the PSX

Why would you be? It's really always been a toss up between the 2 consoles for that generation. Even some of us old heads who were old enough to have owned or played both had a tough time saying which one is better.

heh, I'm surprised PS1 isn't winning by a greater margin, especially considering the sales difference between the consoles.

The PS1 was a casual machine just like the Wii was. Dedicated gamers loved both consoles.

PS1 easily had tons more great games than the N64.

The key is PS1 had a lot of very good games, but N64 library is full of masterpieces. SM64, Both Zeldas, Goldeneye, SF64, Super Smash, Mario Kart, are like some of the greatest games ever. Yes, PS1 has a lot of good rpgs, but most of them are hard to play now due to loading times, poorly aged mechanics, etc. N64s library as a whole is more timeless.

Sure the X360 had some reliability issues (although so did the PS3), but apart from that it was an absolutely fantastic console!

X360 controller (and the XBONE cont) is one of the best controllers ive ever held and I never owned a 360. However, I give an edge to the PS3s UI over the x360s

Demon's Souls is my 2nd favorite game of all time and that is not to count I am a huge fan of the Warriors games which always get some PS exclusives and The Last of Us, Uncharted, KIllzone, Infamous, Heavy Rain, Littlebigplanet could go all day if I really think about it.

Not saying the 360 was not a good console but games is what matters most to me and I think Sony won that every gen besides the N64 vs PS1.
