Forums - Nintendo - Did Nintendo accidentally leak a Switch version of UltraSun and UltraMoon?

Even Capcom figured it out. Since when does capcom make more logical decisions than nintendo

You know I am pretty sure that the Internet has both complained, and wanted, post new hardware support on older consoles.

Plus Pokemon always takes a while to get onto new systems. It came at the end of the GB's life cycle, they had GB games released like Emerald and FR LG around the time the DS was about to come out, the DS line has B2W2....ignoring the fact that they never release early. XY didn't, RS didn't, DP didn't.....

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

I do not believe this is the case.

It was an error...

needa give a thumb up on this one

That's the thing. They never mention that the game is exclusive or only available for 3ds. There's a switch version coming, but not this year bc they are putting more work for this version and not just upscaling the resolution. I remember news about GF hiring developers for HD modelling, so this is what happening

Edit: nevermind. GF just confirmed the exclusivity.

Pokemon isn't made by Nintendo. And the Switch doesn't need a Pokemon this year. There's no reason to release it.

Nintendo has a huge share and basically coexists with gamefreak as an owner of the franchise

Nintendo and gamefreak should've realized putting it on Switch and 3ds would've given them insane amounts of money

The Ultra sequel will probably still sell well, but I don't think it'll do as well as SM

The difference is that the 3ds is backwards compatible and didn't need a new version

Literally all they needed to do was upscale the shitty resolution, slap on a $60 price tag and get rich. They don't even need to do anything. It's ridiculous

No. It's not coming to Switch. And it shouldn't.

And it shouldn't, those kinds of sequels, essentially are a third version with two sub-versions! So it should sell like a 3rd version... 6.5M-8M!

Not completely though. They won't release their 2nd Mega Man collection on 3DS or Switch, even though the first one sold best on 3DS.

Capcom makes smart decisions sometimes, but they will always stay Capcom.
