Do you get cosntantly verbally abused when you play online games because you're Australian? Female and gay gamers most certainly do.

If about half of gamers are women and they aren't represented as developers than that's on the women not wanting to pursue that profession and it's not like there's not a lot of women gamers. 

So maybe the event and subsequent video at the Game Developer's Conference was aimed at making women feel more comfortable and represented in the world of game development.

Have you sent that email to Microsoft yet regarding your concerns that straight white males and asian males are not represented enough in game development?

Are you saying that Sony is gonna play Microsoft adverts at their booth, just to gain the homophobic (etc) audience? Seems kinda weird.

LOL.  Yes, I meant, that Maybe Microsoft just wanted something to play in booths at those events. 

Not sure why you think playing adverts at Pride gains a homophobic audience though.

They did make one for gamers in general https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cb3JKOyXtTc . But why do Latinos, Blacks, and Women get their own dedicated video but why dont't Asians, Heterosexuals, Caucasians, and Males get their own videos?

It reminds me when Christans complain in the USA.  Um, you guys are the majority and quite well protected. How many non Christian or Christan later claimed them, presidents?



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
