Its like this with the Wii, GC, WiiU as well.

Emulation can upres them and the differnces can be quite big.

This isn't a completely fair comparison because the 3DS screen is so tiny, so the image would appear sharper anyway than when it's blown up to the same size as a 4K image on a monitor/TV. Of course the 4K looks better, but if it were reversed and the 4K image was shrunk down to a 3DS screen, the difference wouldn't be as pronounced (likely still obvious, though).

It looks a lot sharper, but also very barren. Increasing the resolution of games that originally had a low resolution usually result in environments that look extremely barren. Personally, I often prefer the original resolution because of that.

I hope we will see HD ports of OoT 3D and MM 3D on Switch.

Idk man. It looks better but I wouldnt say "crazy good". I think if it was made 4K from the ground up itd look crazy good. But the game itself is so old itd need a complete overhaul before it looks crazy good. That being said, MM is a pretty game to begin with

Sweet. Already thought the 3DS remakes of both games, especially MM, looked great. Who knew though that some of these textures would actually be nicely detailed.
