Believe me you're so lucky, we had 34 degree yesterday in Germany... -_-

Summer is 21 days away so it should melt before then.

But... Summer = 1st June - 31st August. That's only 2 days!

Summer solstice is on June 21st.

So? Seasons are based on what month it is. Summer = June-August, Autumn = September-November, Winter = December-February and Spring = March-May

Trucks is being nitpicky. We're talking about meteorological summer, he's talking about the definition of astronomical summer.

There's a reason summer solstice is called midsummer though, so I'll stick with my definition ;)

Gad, I believe that's more than the all time record here. Way too much :P

Never a smoothspot is there? :/

In Canada, we always go by the astronomical dates. Never heard of meteorological summer until a few weeks ago on VGC.

So much for global warming.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

lol, it snowed where I am around this time last year.  I remember driving past a park on the way home from work while the snow was coming down and seeing all these geese walking around in the snow.  I was thinking they must have been really confused about whether or not they flew back north too early.

I envy you. Its over 40°C in here.

I had no idea that there even was such thing.
