We already know the Switch sold over 280k in the US for April so the 73k for the week of April 8th seems in line with that.

Hm, some people are making this mistake again. The front page numbers are NA (US, Mexico, Canada). It sold 64k in the US (which, considering it should get a boost on MK8D release, it makes sense).

Right, you are. The point remains though, the numbers do make sense.

Plenty of stock here in europe.

Agreed, ALL retailers in Norway have plenty of stock.

Sry but Norway is just one small country in Europe, we already know that they are stocks of Switch in Nordic countries, but all Nordic countries have double less population than UK that has Switch stock issues, also France and Germany also have some stock issues, basically ever bigger market in Europe has Switch stock issues.

There is plenty of stock in Europe because there is stock in Norway.

That level of reasoning is something else

Basicly.

What's stopping anyone in the uk from ordering from elsewhere in europe? Buy in bulk even and make a profit if stock is so low there. They even seemed to drop in price since the release date in some stores.

Where in Europe are you?, i'm in Holland and i havn't seen one since launch.

Not seeing this in the UK, and this is the UK we're talking about here . I can however see it in smaller countries with a smaller overall market for gaming, like for example Poland.

On-topic though, great to see high sales for more than one console now. Success for several consoles can only be good for the consumer.

Wow, I expected much worse for the Switch considering stock issues. Most of my friends still can't get a hold of one.

Expect Nintendo to lose N. America before Sony loses Europe.

When will we see switches in stock ? Wonder how much they sell if it is 🤔

In Norway (In Europe) it's been in stock at ALL major retailers for some time now, doesn't seem to be too popular.

Do you own a switch? Just asking since you seemed to have reviewed it on the very page you linked.

Not to mention that you gave Crash Bandicoot N sane trilogy 10/10 two months ago! Thought that game was about to launch in june, but you must have psychic powers when it comes to PS4 exclusives.

On another note, it was sold out in all major norwegian online stores until maybe a week or two ago. I checked earlier in may and they all were empty. The local stores here in Tromsoe (norther norways largest city) were also out last time I checked. But it does seem like the stock issue isn't as big here in scandinavia as elsewere. I do think that is to be expected though, seeing as it illegal to run commercial for games here so it's quite hard to tap into sonys market dominance.

Hope nintendo sorts out the stock issues by the launch of Arms. Boring numbers at the moment. Strong PS4 showing in europe thougn, damn impressive.

I think June/July will be telling for the Switch. I hope it keeps up this pace and keeps it rolling!
