What server do you play on?
Samurai and Ninja look pretty badass, as does the new Bahamut-style skill for Summoners :o

I see. I'm on Hyperion with Raven and Wright.
I stopped playing FF14 about a year ago because of a lack of time, but I've finally gotten back into it recently in preparation for 4.0 (i wanted to have some time to work through the 3.-- updates before Stormblood releases). I'm still pretty limited for time, but what I've been able to play has been a lot of fun. I have no idea how to do any of my rations now though

For what it's worth, the overwhelming majority of the content in the game can be done solo. Most of the remaining stuff (like dungeons) you can just use the Duty Finder for, which will throw you in with a few other players searching. I was super anti-social in the game for the first couple of months i played, and i still had fun. Even now i just DF most stuff because i like pretending to enjoy crafting while i wait.

Hopefully now they've dropped support for the PS3 they'll be able to use more foliage to hide that shit
I think the ground textures look fine (good even sometimes) when it's in manufactured areas like the cities, but damn if the natural ones don't look dodgy.

What they've shown in the new footage does show some improved visual fidelity. Hopefully dropping PS3 support is taken advantage of.
