So why stop there? With that logic, why can't company X use games to become some kind of portable family computer and destroy Apple, Google, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Samsung and Valve altogether?

If they were as good at it as Nintendo, they could. Sony tried it against MS but failed and they both got fucked by Apple in the end anyway.

Nintendo's best riding on Apple's success with their mobile app division. That way the more Apple succeeds, the more Nintendo succeeds.

To be honest I dont like Vita, Because of only one user account and memory cards.. On the other hand PSP was my darling, I used to play all my PS1 games on it while travelling...

And people who say sony didnt support vita, never owned a vita.. the only problem was how exclusive were handled and marketed, it was the same management who handled PS3 exclusive.. there are so many great exclusive on PS3 but sony never promoted them or spread them out like they are doing right now on PS4.. also low vita sales didnt help.

Again these are just sony efforts not counting the indies they brought in or third party published games or several Japanese RPG by sony. Add them the list is twice is big.. but its about the support from Sony, considering they had to support PS3 and PS4 at the same time as Vita.

Maybe. If it was kinda like the Switch. Where it plays all PS4 games on the go. PSV/PSP/PSOne/PS2C backwards compatible plus PS Now.

Me being not very likely to buy a potential PSP 3 would have a lot less to do with trust in Sony and more to do with little trust in handhelds in general. Hamdhelds just haven't aged nearly as well as consoles have. I think the only way I could another dedicated handheld is if it could replace my phone, i.e. something similar to the N-Gage from several years back.
